-The release date is March 23, 2012
-It is being produced by Liongate with Gary Ross as the director
-Jennifer Lawrence will be playing the role of Katniss Everdeen
-Josh Hutcherson will be playing the role of Peeta Mellark
-Liam Hemsworth will be playing the role of Gale
-JLaw will dye her hair for the movie as will Josh

Rumored:

-Josh Hutcherson, Hunter Parrish, Alex Pettyfur, and others have read for the part of Peeta Mellark

My Opinion:

-Now that I’m thinking, JLaw wouldn’t be TOO bad as Katniss
-Josh Hutcherson is being talked about as PEETA when he is NOOOOTHING like him, but would be pretty good as Gale or that guy that killed Rue where as Peeta should be played as either Alex Pettyfer or William Mosely who have both had experience in movie weaponry and fighting
-I think that a VERY, VERY good Haymitch would be the guy in House who plays House, Hugh Laurie, because
the character he’s been playing in House for seven years reminds me so much much of Haymitch
-Or even Johnny Depp .. but he wouldn’t be perfect and he’ll probably be too busy
